Random Facts from Dave:
-Shaky Jesus was built off of a guitar riff I wrote years ago that ended up in the studio version on Bury Me In Philly. When Tim and I toured as a duo in 2018 we worked up this version and felt pretty good about it, and then opened some shows for Brian Fallon. Brian went wild for the version and came running downstairs one day saying "WHEN ARE YOU MAKING THAT VERSION!?" Sometimes you don't get the best version of the song recorded the first time, so you have to go back in and give it another pass.
This birthday version is a little too fast, sometime nerves get the best of you.

I yell for this song to be played every single time I see y'all. Out of the 9 shows I've been to, I think y'all played it at least 4 times. It's the first Lucero song I heard and to this day is still one of my favorites! Thank you for what you do. The Captain's Son
